The advanced template is developed in such a way which allows you to have
1. Different copy on desktop vs mobile (perhaps a shorter version on mobile)
2. The ability to have mobile text below the donation form.
The default option allows you to have the SAME text on desktop and mobile. You type your text on the left and it will display exactly the same on desktop and mobile. One way to improve the experience without doing anything else is to use the read more functionality for mobile.
However, our view is that it is best practice on mobile to have the text BELOW the donation form. How do you achieve this?
Step 1: Click on the cog above the text on the left. Hide the text on mobile. This will mean the text is still displayed on desktop. Exactly what you want.
Step 2: Below the donation form in edit mode, there is a cog which is currently hidden on BOTH desktop and mobile. Make sure you carefully choose the right cog (the one below this one is the wrong cog, you will know you are wrong when you see social media icons being unhidden).
Step 3: Unhide this cog on BOTH mobile and desktop. This is your mobile text. You will put your text in here and then when finished, hide the tile on desktop. The text will disappear (you have hidden it on desktop) but will still be displayed on mobile UNDERNEATH the donation form - WIN!
Step 4: Review the page once published on BOTH desktop and mobile
Step 5: If you need to change the mobile text (as perhaps the desktop text has changed or you need to just update mobile, go back to the cog underneath the donation form, unhide on desktop, update your copy and then hide again on desktop (leaving it displayed on mobile).
